A virus inside a virus – take one, part 1

8 billion souls eat, drink, breathe, and pee day in and day out.

Each day, some souls die and more come alive.

Some more than others believe that we are part of a system.

A network of some kind that helps keep us alive.

In clusters we live, some denser than others.

And from the gifts of Mother Earth, we sustain ourselves.

There’s a pandemic out there.

It’s given every soul alive a fright.

That they might be infected or infect others.

And that they or a loved one will die.

It’s an existencial crisis really.

We can fight it off as best as we can.

And at the end of the day, it’s live or die.
